En la semana se dieron a conocer los nominados para los premios BET Awards 2013, los cuales se entregarán el 30 de Junio, y para sorpresa (de nadie), Drake es la estrella con mas nominaciones (12), seguido por Kendrick Lamar y 2 Chainz, ambos con 8.
Drake está nominado para importantes categorías como la mejor colaboración, el mejor artista masculino e inclusive, el video del año. Otros artistas que restaltan en la lista son Alicia Keys y Rihanna, nominadas para la mejor artista femenina de R&B/Pop. Por otro lado tenemos a Macklemore & Ryan Lewis en mejor banda, y a Trinidad Jame$ como mejor artista revelación.
Chris Brown será quien dé el primer show de la noche, donde posiblemente escuchemos They Don’t Know, el segundo single de su próximo CD, X, que cuenta con las voces de Aaliyah. El segundo show estará a cargo de R. Kelly, siendo la entrega celebrada en el Nokia Theater de Los Angeles.
