Es fácil darse cuenta que el Rap, al igual que un deporte, es una disciplina super competitiva, y que los ganadores son quienes se llevan la gloria y escriben las páginas de la historia.
Cada día se venden menos discos físicos, pero está al alcance de todos comprarlo de manera digital y también son contabilizadas estas ventas para los rankings. Y mientras que el fútbol por ejemplo tiene goles y posiciones en un torneo, podríamos hacer una analogía con los discos vendidos y las posiciones en los charts de las canciones lanzadas por los artistas, mejor conocidas como hits (también podríamos comparar quien cobra más por los featurings, quien vendió más tickets para sus conciertos o incluso quien gana más dinero en la industria). Obviamente para verlo desde un punto de vista objetivo, ya que el mejor o el que más agrade, va sobre gustos y es algo subjetivo.
Pero una de las marcas más distintivas dentro del Hip Hop para medir el éxito es la cantidad de discos de platino. Un disco de platino equivale a un millón de discos vendidos o entregados, y si bien muchos artistas tienen un disco de platino en su carrera, son pocos los que tienen varios, por eso hoy les vamos a mostrar a esta selecta elite de raperos consagrados.
